Spot Bench provides precious-metal appraisal, bench workshop pricing, and counter repair intake workflows for independent bench goldsmiths and trade technicians. This policy details how we treat your shop data, customer intake tickets, and counter calculations.

1. Data Ownership

You retain 100% full data ownership of all bench workshop records, repair tickets, counter customer disclaimers, metal weight logs, and custom shop formulas entered into Spot Bench. We never sell, monetize, or harvest your customer records or appraisal sheets.

2. Zero Commission & 0% Transaction Cut

Spot Bench operates strictly as trade-grade software without transaction fees. We never monitor your payment terminals, counter POS transactions, or take percentages of customer repair billings. Your margins remain entirely yours.

3. Data Collection and Usage

We only process minimal operational data necessary to maintain your saved shop rates, live spot gold calculations, and authenticated session state:

• Shop Settings: Saved hourly bench rates, material markups, and counter defaults stored securely under your account.
• Billing Data: Handled securely via Stripe. We do not store raw credit card numbers. Subscriptions feature seamless 2-click cancellation directly from your account settings at any time without support intervention.
• Portability: All appraisals and counter logs can be exported anytime via 1-click CSV export.

4. Security and Disclosures

Security vulnerability disclosures are coordinated under RFC 9116 via /.well-known/security.txt. Contact our security team at security@spotbench.app with any inquiries.
